**Who You Are**:
We are looking for a Design and Estimating Administrator to join our team. This position will be an integral part of interacting will internal and external stakeholders. Being a Design and Estimating Administrator within our organization means working on a diverse range of projects varying across multiple disciplines.
**As Design and Estimating Administrator, some of your roles and responsibilities will include**
- possess a minimum of 2 years of Estimating and/or Design experience within the Commercial industry.
- Understand client budget and scope of work required
- Create work back schedules
- Assist in sending out tenders to design team and validate quotes
- Prepare contract documentation for clients and vendors
- Attend all design and coordination meetings
- Prepare documents for permitting
- Understand client budget and scope of work required
- Understanding drawings and helping complete material takeoffs in a timely manner.
- Consistently follows up with trades for pricing or site visits.
- Clearly communicates with the estimating team to ensure they are up to date with tasks ongoing or completed.
- Uses Plan swift to complete take-offs.
- Reviews finishes schedules to price materials with suppliers.
- Constantly speaking with trades for various projects to ensure they received drawings, pricing will be received on time and they will be attending site o Maintain Master Tender List and ensure up-to-date trade information, along with consistently in search for new trades to add.
- Constantly learning new estimating tasks to help increase their knowledge of the estimating process as a whole
- Assist with administrative tasks as directed by the Senior Estimator or Upper Management.
- Demonstrate reliability, accountability and excellent customer service.
- Keep confidential all customer and business information and records that you may have access to.
- Participate in Estimating Committee meetings.
- Assist management team in operational-related tasks as they arise.
- Participate in updating the estimating manual, procedures and policies.
- Assist with coordination meetings and client presentations.
