**Job Description**:
The Estimator II will report to the Office or Regional Lead Estimator. The Estimator II will focus primarily on projects within their Region, but, as a Corporate Employee, estimators will support other regions as the workload dictates. Estimator II’s are expected to adapt quantification and pricing methods to match the intended use of the estimate and the level of project definition available. Early stages of design and project definition will require conceptual methods, whereas detailed labor and material estimates will be developed as design approaches full-project definition

**Responsibilities**
- Lead project estimates on occasion required by workload. Discipline estimators will support database update effort
- Adapt quantification and pricing methods to match the intended use of the estimate and the level of project definition available
- Support database update efforts
- Organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
- Work effectively and make decisions under tight deadline
- Read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of experience preferred in the following types of projects: Life Science Projects; Industrial Projects; Commercial Projects

**Additional Qualifications**
- Individual must be self-motivated and possess strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision as well as part of a team
- Understand project logistics and project schedules
- Understand standard construction details for their specific discipline(s)
- Understand and account for white space scope through experience and communication with project team (designers, estimators, project managers)
- Knowledge of estimating practices and procedures including software input and data manipulation utilizing estimating software such as Sage Estimating and Onscreen Takeoff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
