The opportunity:
**Gildan’s ESG & Communications team** is looking for a **motivated individual** to support the **development and launch** of the **2025 ESG Report**, with a strong focus on **ESG rankings and ratings** that form a key part of the Company’s **disclosure and communications**. This role offers hands-on experience in sustainability communications, stakeholder engagement, and ESG disclosure practices **within a leading apparel manufacturer known for its vertical integration, strong sustainability commitments, and global presence across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.**

You will gain valuable exposure to how a **publicly traded company (NYSE & TSX)** manages sustainability reporting and strategy, while contributing to high-visibility projects that directly impact Gildan’s reputation and transparency with **investors, employees, customers, and global stakeholders.** Through this role, you’ll help shape the Company’s narrative on ESG performance and support initiatives that drive its sustainability roadmap.

**The role**
- Assist in drafting, revising, and translating ESG report content to align with Gildan’s brand voice, disclosure standards, and reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, SDGs).
- Coordinate the collection and integration of ESG data and narratives from internal teams across global operations.
- Support the creation of visuals, case studies, and storytelling elements to enhance the impact of the ESG Report.
- Help review ESG questionnaires (e.g., CDP, CSA, MSCI, Sustainalytics) to ensure consistency across disclosures.
- Contribute to internal and external communication materials (press releases, web content, employee updates) linked to the ESG Report launch.
- Monitor best practices in corporate sustainability communications and recommend innovative approaches.

**The requirements**
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Knowledge of ESG and sustainability reporting standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, SDGs, CDP) is required.
- Hands-on experience drafting or editing reports, content creation, communications, or ESG reporting content (internships, academic projects, or professional experience).
- Exposure to ESG strategy, corporate reporting processes, or environmental/social impact analysis is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and French (Spanish is an asset).
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, basic analysis, and integration into reporting) and other MS Office tools.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Creative thinker with an eye for detail.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information into clear, engaging content.
- This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French - mainly English.
