**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal and adherence to customer specifications.
- Package baked goods for display or delivery, maintaining quality and freshness.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of all pastry items for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance skills and offerings.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cake decorating techniques and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in baking.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
