Position Overview

The Operations, Sales, and Marketing Manager has a key leadership role, being responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving sales growth, and implementing effective marketing strategies. This role requires a dynamic professional with the ability to oversee production processes, manage financial operations, lead a team, and build strong customer relationships while maintaining strict confidentiality and high-quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:
Operational Leadership
- Develop and execute detailed work plans to improve operational accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies for operational efficiency without compromising quality or safety.
- Manage and prioritize production schedules and processes to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Oversee inventory management, sourcing raw materials as needed, and ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with production operators to address inventory concerns and uphold quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CFIA and international standards for overseas customers.
- Safeguard financial and business records, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.

Financial and Accounts Payable Management
- Maintain accounts payable processes, including invoice recording, payments, and vendor account reconciliation.
- Update and manage vendor records, addressing discrepancies or billing disputes promptly.
- Review bills for potential errors and resolve issues efficiently to maintain accurate financial records.

Team Leadership and Development
- Supervise office and administrative staff, providing clear guidance and regular feedback.
- Develop and implement training programs, including health and safety initiatives.
- Conduct performance reviews and support staff in achieving professional growth.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while monitoring work quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee payroll operations, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Customer Relations and Sales
- Professionally handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations to ensure a positive experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for new partnerships.
- Manage key accounts, including Walmart, ensuring compliance with regulations and resolving disputes promptly.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets and enhance market presence.

Marketing and Brand Strategy
- Create and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Oversee marketing campaigns, promotions, and digital content to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
- Lead the planning and execution of special events, ensuring a cohesive theme and exceptional guest experience.

Strategic Planning and Cost Management
- Monitor operational and project costs, making price adjustments as needed to maintain profit margins.
- Collaborate with business owners and partners to evaluate performance and ensure steady profitability.

**Qualifications**:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing.

Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in operational management, sales, and marketing, with a strong track record of achieving business objectives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and software, including advanced Excel skills (Sage 300 and Retail Link experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage complex processes independently.
- Adaptable and collaborative mindset, willing to take initiative and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
- Experience in a retail environment (preferred).

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 20-40 pounds as needed.

Preferred Knowledge
- Familiarity with avian-related industries is an asset.

Key Attributes

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
