**Job Purpose**

The Production Team Lead plays a key role in ensuring daily production activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with GMP and food safety standards. This position supports the Production Supervisor, provides guidance to line staff, and helps ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

**Essential Functions**
- Ensure all production activities comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assign and support staff coverage by adjusting team assignments based on daily production needs and unexpected absences.
- Monitor progress of baking and packaging lines, following up with line leads and bakers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Provide break coverage to production staff while keeping production lines running smoothly.
- Step into the Production Supervisor role as needed, ensuring continued production efficiency and coordination.
- Conduct regular checks of workstations to identify and address safety hazards, cleanliness issues, or equipment misuse.
- Assist in onboarding, training, and mentoring of new team members to promote skill development and consistent quality.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with cross-functional departments and leadership.
- Maintain accurate records and use Microsoft Suite to track production data as required.
- Utilize SAP to check order statuses, handle returns, and confirm order details.
- Maintain OEE targets by monitoring RedZone regularly.
- Work with operators to ensure waste is kept to a minimum.
- Communicate with Production Supervisor regarding any lines below target OEE or waste.
- Be flexible and available to work overtime as business needs require.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)**
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
- Baking knowledge or experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of GMP, food safety, and workplace safety practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and working knowledge of SAP.
- Proven leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and perform overtime when required.

**Schedule**: 2:00pm-10:30pm, weekday and weekend flexible.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
