**LOCATION**:
Rotating between our Keele/Wilson site, and Bathurst/Eglinton Site

**Position Summary**:
Provide direct nursing care and administrative support to patients to ensure compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high-quality clinical care.

**Essential Functions**:
**Must be a Registered Practical Nurse**
Provide healthcare and administrative support to patients in the Interventional Pain Clinics alongside the Medical TeamMust have Medical Office experience
Assist healthcare providers and administrative staff with maintaining patient flow to ensure patients are seen timely and efficiently
Serve as a back-up for team members as appropriate when needed due to staffing needs including vacations, illnesses, lunches, etc.
Attend clinical meetings and training sessions meetings pertinent to position
Maintain excellent communication and effective working relationships with patients, providers, clinical and clerical team members
Maintain college certifications or licensures as applicable
Must be BLS certified
Perform all other administrative duties as assigned.

Knowledge of medical terminology
Communication - Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Computer Skills - Proficient ability to use a computer and electronic medical record.
Confidentiality - Maintain patient, team member and employer confidentiality. Comply with all HIPAA regulations
Customer Service Oriented - Friendly, cheerful and helpful to patients and others
Ability to meet patients and others needs while following office policies and procedures
Decision Making - Ability to make critical decisions while following GSH policies and procedures
Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task
Flexibility - Ability to adapt easily to changing conditions and work responsibilities

Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.

**Must be an RPN in good standing with the College**
Experiencing initiating IVs (strongly preferred)
Experience in Interventional Pain (an asset)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Status**:Full time 37.5h/week

**Wage**: 30-33$ commensurate with experience

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
