**Job Overview**:
As a **Guest Service Agent**, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. You’ll play a key role in ensuring each guest has a seamless and welcoming experience throughout their stay.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Welcome and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Issue room keys, provide hotel and local information, and prepare for VIP arrivals and group check-ins/check-outs.
- Answer phones promptly and courteously, handling reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiries.
- Upsell rooms and amenities to maximize hotel revenue.
- Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, complete reports, and manage assigned cash floats.
- Monitor and issue guest safe deposit boxes.
- Address guest requests or issues and communicate them to management as needed.
- Provide concierge-level support by offering directions and recommending local attractions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including guest room tours and special guest requests.
- Maintain adherence to all company and brand standards.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- ** Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- ** Experience**: At least one year of front desk or customer service experience preferred.
- ** Languages**: Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
- ** Skills**: Excellent communication, basic math, and computer proficiency.
- ** Physical Requirements**:

- Stand for long periods behind the front desk.
- Lift or carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Operate phones, computers, and reservation systems.
- ** Availability**: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
