**A Day in the Life**:
Reporting to the General Manager this role will support culinary leaders in providing leadership to culinary team members and ensuring an elevated experience in all food and beverage areas within the hotel.
- Help culinary team members in the day-to-day operation of the Kitchen and Stewarding teams, which includes driving a culture of performance and high engagement through recognition, training and coaching.
- Consistently display exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment, coaching team members as appropriate and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to managing a team.
- Support the development of culinary team members and apprentices, which includes but is not limited to performance development reviews, competitions, and skill/knowledge development.
- Provide support in the development and implementation of menus, training programs and SOP’s for the Kitchen team;
- Support the team to identify and resolve all guest concerns/complaints to ensure the brand promise is delivered.
- Adhere to hotel standards of food quality, recipes, and preparation.
- Ability to work and prepare all menu items including breakfast, lunch and dinner, and banqueting.

- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of food hygiene.

- Works well under pressure and in a team environment.
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and flexible shifts.
