Job Overview:
**This is a 12-month contractual temporary employment term** with Sargent Farms, A Division of Sunrise Poultry Processors Ltd. for the temporary position of “_Accounting & Purchasing Administrator_.”

During the contract of temporary employment, the Temporary contract Employee will report tothe _Director of Finance, _with additional reporting to the _Retail Marketing & Purchasing Manager._

**Overview**

**Summary of Essential Job Functions**:
**Accounts Receivable Support**:

- Assist with customer payment reconciliations, including cash, cheques, credit cards and EFT’s.
- Coordinate credit card payments and settlements for customers.
- Consult with the Sales department with regards to new customer set ups and customer credit notes.
- Create and distribute account statements to customers on a weekly basis.
- Communicate sales reports to leadership on a weekly basis.
- Work, support and collaborate with all other team members within the finance function.
- Provide vacation coverage within the department.

**Purchasing Support**:

- Perform and enter weekly inventory counts within our ERP system.
- Report and assist Senior Purchaser with inventory discrepancies.
- Perform transactional receipts within our ERP system.
- Maintain clerical flow of documentation.
- Data Management.
- Prepare spreadsheets on behalf of the purchasing department as required.
- Provide vacation coverage within the department.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- **Requires incumbent to be on-site each day. Not a hybrid role.**:

- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent clerical, word processing, and spreadsheet (Excel) skills as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and account analysis.
- Self-initiative and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated resiliency, assertiveness, problem, solving, creative thinking, decision making, strong network and relationship building skills.
- Must pass pre-employment screening (Criminal and Background Check).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $52,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
