Duties for this position include:
Calibration, repair and testing of instrumentation and measuring equipment as assigned, primarily onsite. Complete service reports, data results, and generate calibration certificates. Communicate with customers to establish work scope requirements and authorizations. Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to secure specs, procedures, part numbers and pricing. Communicate with supervisor / manager for approval of repairs, replacements or limited calibration authorization. Follow documented procedures to meet customer requirements, and document all approvals and discrepancies.

Graduate of a post-secondary technical program in a job related discipline (instrumentation, electronics, metrology) required.

Must have a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic/physical properties calibration methods and practices. Familiarity of word and excel would be an asset. Must be able to calibrate test and measuring equipment, must be able to understand and communicate using metrology, specifications, and tolerance terminology.

Must be willing to travel within Atlantic Canada and have a valid drivers license.

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
