Electronics Calibration/testing Technician

**Position Overview**:
As an Electronics Calibration/Testing Technician you will be responsible for the set-up, calibration and testing of company electro-mechanical products and components.
**Responsibilities**:
- Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
- Conduct life tests (burn-ins) on assemblies and record and analyze results
- Assist in testing prototypes to specifications
- Calibrate electronic equipment and systems according to technical manuals and written instructions
- Creating and maintaining production, assembly and maintenance documentation
- Reporting of anomalies, issues and problems
- Packaging of products in preparation for shipping
- Adherence to quality system
**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:
- Experience with set-up, calibration and testing of electro-mechanical equipment and components
- Experience following established calibration procedures to ensure accurate and consistent results
- Some experience assembling mechanical and electrical components and assemblies
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 registered company would be an asset
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
- Keen attention to detail
- Good time management
- Good manual dexterity
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment maintaining focus on work quality
- Willingness and ability to learn
**Education**:
- College Diploma in Electronics Technician
