Pylon Electronics is seeking an individual with skills and qualifications to fill a full time position as an Physical Properties Calibration Technician in our **Dartmouth** facility.

**Requirements**:

- Graduate of an instrumentation program or have technical training in similar disciplines
- Must possess valid drivers license
- The applicant must be eligible to obtain a Secret Level II Security Clearance and pass Controlled Goods screening in Canada as a condition of employment.
- Well organized and attentive to details.
- Strong initiative and leadership.
- Effective computer skills with MS Word and Excel.
- Meticulous work habits.
- Previous experience in calibration of test equipment is an asset.
- Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, etc. is considered an asset.

**Responsibilities**
- Follow calibration procedures and perform verification tests and alignments of electronic test equipment
- Be able to complete minor repairs
- Occasionally travel to customer locations to perform on-site calibrations
- Develop test data sheets using Microsoft Excel
- Maintain Pylon owned equipment
