**Working in Marketing at Goway**:
Our Marketing team is growing Join Goway and inspire people to go globetrotting during a transformative time in the world of travel. Working with the Head of Content & Communications, the **Social Media Specialist** will play a key role in implementing Goway’s marketing strategies and engaging customers in the exciting world of online media.
You’ll join a passionate team of globetrotting marketers and work together to inspire people to discover far-flung destinations around the world. Working cooperatively with others on the Marketing team as well as spearheading your own projects, you’ll become a key part of Goway’s vaunted content marketing machine.
You’ll devise strategies for the key social media channels, interact with our growing online community of globetrotters, and implement your vision for Goway communications. You’ll also be instrumental in helping to develop the vision of the new Goway in time for the launch of our new website. All the while, you’ll skill up in essential creative fields and develop your own voice while helping build the Goway brand.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
- Help refresh and implement a new Goway social media strategy- Collaborate with Sales, Destination, and Partnership Teams to develop new and engaging social campaigns- Own the social media marketing calendar from planning to publishing- Coordinate with various in-house creative production teams- Write concise and compelling captions- Own Goway’s digital asset management tools and organization- Manage a creative production budget, maintaining relationships with freelancers, creators, and influencers- Help engage with our community of globetrotters in collaboration with the Customer Experience Team- Provide guidance, oversight, and analysis to B2B divisions who manage the day to day of private/closed group social properties for travel agents- Liaise with Digital Ads Specialist for strategic paid promotion of inspiring content on our social channels
- Conduct weekly and monthly reporting, contributing insights and recommendations and complementing the overall vision of the brand
**What We’re Looking For**:
**Must have experience**:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a dedicated social media role- Excellent writing and communications skills in English- In-depth knowledge of social media metrics and reporting- Ability to think creatively to conceive content and campaign ideas- Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately in a front-facing communications environment
- A collaborative mindset and desire to support the creative efforts of other team members
**Great to have experience**:
- Experience working in the travel and tourism industry- Experience with content creation tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud
- Graphic design and video editing training or education
- Photography or videography skills
