**Social Media Specialist** to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Social Media Specialist you will responsible for generating compelling and shareable content to support the social media channels across the Sunwing Travel Group, in accordance to the wider corporate communications strategy. The Social Media Specialist must be a skilled copywriter with a creative eye for detail and curating imagery. The position reports to the

**What You’ll Do**:

- _ Help to grow our brand presence on social media through creation of engaging social content in line with the corporate strategy of the Sunwing Travel Group_
- _ Creates social media posts that support marketing campaigns, business goals, _communications_ and sales priorities_
- _ Maintains monthly social media calendar for the Group’s social accounts including Sunwing Vacations, _SellOffVacations_, Sunwing Weddings_
- _ Schedules all posts in Sprout Social for optimal timing and engagement_
- _ Creates engaging _content_; w_rites and edits captions for _v_arious social accounts and coop social posts._
- _ Utilizes social media tools such as geo-targeting and language specifications to increase post performance and reach._
- _ Tracks all social media posts using UTM tracking ids_
- _ Stays on top of current social trends, new _features_ and competitor analysis_
- _ Acts as key contact for all platforms and tools needed for social media_ _
- _Create and administer social media contests_
- _ Completes reports, analyzes data, delivers POPs for numerous activations _
- _Supports activations and events in person by taking photos and videos and offering on-site support_
- _ Organizes _CrowdRiff_ database_
- _ Creates Monthly POP (Proof of Post) reports _
- _Creates social shot lists for communications team members travelling to destination for business, posts on their behalf across the Group’s social accounts_

**What You’ll Need**:

- _ 1 - 3 years related experience _
- _Diploma or Degree_ in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or similar combination of education and experience _
- _Must have excellent oral and written communication skills_
- _ Must be organized and practice effective time management_
- _ Able to work in fast paced environment with a sense of urgency_
- _ Photography background is an asset_
- _ French is an asset_
- _ Graphic design experience is a plus (Photoshop, Canva, Lightroom, etc.)_
