At Summit Valve your hard work does not go unnoticed. We are a Western Canadian based distributor of valves, actuators, and instrumentation products. We need an exceptional Customer Experience Coordinator to join our team.
**What does this mean?**
As a Customer Experience Coordinator, you will work as part of our Procurement Team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building successful long-term relationships, and supporting order requirements. This position is critical to the ongoing successes and growth of the company.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Monitor, organize, and respond to incoming messages in the Order Support shared inbox, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Generate pick lists for the warehouse team to support efficient order fulfillment.
- Proactively provide customers with timely updates on order status to enhance communication and service satisfaction.
- Provide customers with order status updates, including estimated shipping and delivery timelines.
- Track and manage the order backlog, ensuring visibility and prioritization of outstanding orders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and issue resolution.
- Track shipments and proactively communicate any delays or issues to internal teams and customers.
**Secondary Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and manage customer expedites, ensuring urgent orders are prioritized and fulfilled on time.
- Support the management and resolution of cases related to credit, exchange, or warranty. Collaborating with internal teams as needed.
**Skills and Abilities**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering timely and effective solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, customer experience, administrative coordination, or a related support role.
- Experience working with CRM and ERP systems preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in working directly with customers in a professional setting.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
