Wholesale & Customer Experience Coordinator

At Wild Prairie Soap Company, we believe in creating a remarkable experience for our customers—from the moment they place an order to the moment they unwrap our products. We're looking for a capable, friendly, and organized individual to join us in a **part-time role (22.5 hours/week)** as our **Wholesale & Customer Experience Coordinator**.
This position is essential to our small but mighty team. You'll help ensure smooth day-to-day operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and support our growing wholesale and retail business. There is opportunity for additional hours in the future as needs evolve.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- **Order Fulfillment (Wholesale & Retail)**:
Pick, pack, and process customer and wholesale orders with attention to detail, timeliness, and product presentation.
- **Customer Service & Communication**:
- **Inventory Management**:
Maintain accurate product inventory in Shopify. Communicate with the production team on stock levels and reordering needs.
- **Supply Ordering**:
Order necessary packaging supplies, office supplies and other items as required. Track vendor relationships and costs.
- **Shipping & Invoicing**:
Generate shipping labels using platforms like ClickShip, Canpar, and Canada Post. Create invoices in QuickBooks Online for wholesale orders.
- **Internal Team Communication**:
Work closely with production and marketing teams to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- **Retail Store Support**:
Assist with opening/closing, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, and merchandising displays to reflect seasonal themes and promotions.
- **Product Knowledge & Upselling**:
Develop strong product knowledge to make thoughtful recommendations to customers and wholesale clients.
- **Organized Workspaces**:
Maintain an efficient and tidy packing/shipping area with well-stocked supplies and clearly labeled systems. Follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
- **Sales Support**:
Contribute to achieving sales goals through excellent service and strategic product placement in-store.

**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or order fulfillment
- Familiarity with Shopify, QuickBooks Online, and shipping platforms like ClickShip is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
- Able to lift and move boxes up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $17.50-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
