**Roles & Responsibilities**
**Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- General bookkeeping postings and journal entries for a multi-corporation organisation.
- Payroll
- Preparation and processing of invoices, administer accounts receivable
- Prepare and process POs, oversee and process accounts payable
- Process expense claims and credit card reconciliations
- Set up and manage new vendors and clients’ accounts
- Communicate with vendors and clients on billing matters
- Process filings and remittances, ex. HST, T4s, WSIB, ROE
- Preparation of financial reports and support monthly close process
- Year End preparation, and Financial Audit
- Answer phones, open and distribute / scanning of mail; filing hardcopy or
digitized files
- Purchase of office supplies, and other materials as required
- Coordination with accounting firm
- Assist Operations Manager and book travel, usage of company and rental vehicles
- Bank deposits / bank reconciliation
- Manage company benefit/insurance plan
- Maintain vehicle ownerships, plate stickers, liability & vehicle insurance
- Maintain records of H&S training
- Coordinate with Office Administrator Assitant
- Other office administrative and accounting‐related duties as required
**Skills, Experience, and other requirements**:
- Degree or diploma in accounting or financing or other relevant field, and/or at least 2 years of equivalent working experience
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Knowledge of QuickBooks
- Proficiency in MS Office suite - with ability to create simple formulas and manipulate data in Excel, create spreadsheets and reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong accounting & organisational skills
- Able to manage priorities and to handle multiple tasks while ensuring all are delivered as scheduled.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
