About Us:
Purple Potties & Environmental Services Inc. is an Ottawa based portable washroom rental company. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our units as well as our flexibility in providing responsive, professional, customer service.
About The Role: Office Assistant
In this role, the Office Assistant reports directly to the Office Manager and may also have direction given by the Executive Team.
Responsibilities:
- Posting and responding to job vacancy ads
- Recruiting and scheduling interviews
- Maintain employee files during and after onboarding process
- Review stock levels and ensure adequate supply, notify supervisor of items getting low
- Maintains office and general inventory and upkeep
- Reviews equipment inventory prior to securing rentals
- Transfers upcoming confirmed requests into ServiceCore
- Email upcoming rentals to let them know their timeframe for their delivery
- Reach out to upcoming rentals that haven't confirmed yet
- Performs client follow ups on a bi-weekly to monthly basis or after a one-off contract to ensure services are up to standards
- Assist in maintain company spreadsheets and dashboards
- Answers phone calls and emails with professionalism and providing excellent customer service
- Regularly reports updates and accomplishments to senior management
- Ensure job site is organized and free of clutter, garbage and any other mess
- Performs other administrative-related duties as directed by the Office Manager and Executive Team
Location:
- Daily shifts will be from the primary work location at 6 Huisson Road, Carp ON K0A 1L0
- Staff parking is provided at the entrance to the grounds, additional parking is available on the street
- The average office shift will be from 9am-5pm
Requirements:
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products, QuickBooks Online is a plus
- Professional, articulate, energetic and trustworthy
- Be able to work in Canada
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English, French is a plus
