**Production Kitchen Helper/Prep Cook**

As a Production Kitchen Helper/Prep Cook, you'll be a crucial part of ensuring our products meet the highest standards for consistency, quality, and volume. This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor.

**What You'll Do**:

- **Prepare & Produce**: Execute high-volume preparation of ingredients and components for our baked goods, brunch, and lunch items, strictly following recipes and production schedules.
- **Batch Assembly**: Accurately assemble and portion large batches of menu items to meet daily production targets and inventory needs.
- **Maintain Production Flow**: Support the smooth operation of the production line, ensuring ingredients are prepped and available as needed.
- **Optimize Efficiency**: Work with speed and precision, contributing to an efficient production workflow.
- **Maintain a Pristine Kitchen**: Keep your workspace and the production kitchen spotless by cleaning as you go, including washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and maintaining all prep areas.
- **Champion Food Safety**: Rigorously adhere to all food safety protocols, particularly safe handling practices, cross-contamination prevention, and strict stock rotation (FIFO).
- **Sanitize & Organize**: Thoroughly clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, production equipment, storage areas, and appliances; ensure the entire production facility is clean and organized.

**What You'll Bring**:

- **Experience**: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production kitchen, commercial bakery, or similar high-volume food preparation environment.
- **Kitchen Savvy**: Proven experience with basic kitchen equipment and tools used in a production setting.
- **Efficiency**: Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and consistently with large quantities of ingredients.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekdays, and weekends as production demands require.
- **Certifications**: A valid Food Safe Certificate.

**Job Type**: Full-time

Pay: From $22.50 per hour
