**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Adhere to all health regulations and guidelines related to food safety.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in meal preparation and presentation.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.52 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
