**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring vegetables and other food items.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food handling practices.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills will contribute to success in this role.
