We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst** to join our finance team. The FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data, analyze trends, and prepare forecasts and budgets.
- Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to senior management to drive business performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to streamline operations.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. MBA or CPA designation is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques. Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present findings to senior management.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with a desire to continuously improve processes and drive business growth.
- Knowledge of BisTrack (ERP) and Great Plains (GP) systems (a strong asset)
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Strong time management and prioritizing skills
- Ability to interpret and implement Company policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Ability to provide excellent internal customer service to other departments in the Company, and being able to follow up on requests, either in person or remotely when required.
