**Reporting Relationship**: The Manager, Birchwood Reconditioning Centre reports directly Director of the Used Vehicle Services.

**Job Summary**:
In accordance with the Birchwood Used Vehicle Strategic Plan, the Manager, Birchwood Reconditioning Center is responsible for the day-to-day operation, financial performance, and management of the Birchwood Reconditioning Center.

**Responsibilities**

The Reconditioning Manager is responsible for:

- Tactical execution of strategic vision
- Continuous process improvement through a Lean 6-Sigma methodology
- Overall budget creation & attainment
- Critical decision-making regarding revenue, cost, process, and personnel
- Building and maintaining both internal & external relationships with Used Car Managers, Parts and Service departments, vendors, and partners.
- Administration of related revenue streams & expenses, along with human resource related tasks
- Mentorship of direct reports in production & leadership
- Team member safety and facility compliance with Manitoba Workplace Health and Safety

**Qualifications**
- Professional relationship expert with a demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
- Completed Post-Secondary education in a business-related field or equivalent combination of training & experience within a relevant field
- Production Management is a must, with Lean/Six-Sigma experience preferred
- Thrive in a collaborative environment, where teamwork is encouraged
- High attention to detail with proven time management and organizational skills
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Comfortable leveraging technology, such as Microsoft Office, for most day-to-day functions
- Valid driver’s license with transportation to and from work required
