Owen & Associates is looking for individuals to join our Benefits Administration team with previous carrier experience This position requires a love for building relationships, providing excellent customer service and processing / maintaining client files. As an industry leader, Owen & Associates maintains a high level of excellence for service and advice. The role will have considerable focus on client retention and experience and in this position, you will service an existing book of business.

Our team currently consists of over 20 staff members in various roles, assisting over 400 corporate clients across Canada and managing partner relationships in over 150 countries worldwide.

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily administration of Group Benefit & Retirement plans
- Provide excellent service to the employee populations of a defined client base
- Enroll, terminate and edit plan member statuses to ensure carrier records are up to date and accurate
- Maintain all client files and correspondence to comply with O&A Standards
- Perform reviews / audit of plan members information
- Maintain a high-touch service schedule with clients to ensure proactive initiative
- Assist clients and employees with their inquiries and follow-ups either on your own or by coordinating with the carrier representative
- Assist the client and employees in claim management, billing inquiries and extension of benefits coordination
- Conduct employee meetings when required
- Conduct quarterly meetings with the client and action any follow-up items required
- Direct on-boarding of new clients by working closely with the carrier and client, gathering enrollment and underwriting materials, and ensure proper roll-out of the program
- Maintain knowledge of all carrier administration portals
- Keep up to date with industry trends and activities by participating in webinars, seminars, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Detail orientated and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Excellent organizational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build rapport
- Four or more years of customer service and/or client facing experience
- Interpersonal, communication skills both written and verbal
- Highly flexible, self-motivated & able to multi-task
- Positive attitude, solution oriented and a team player
- Strong Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Must have 3 - 4 years carrier (group benefits) experience
- Must clear a Background Check

**Assets**:

- Working knowledge of Employee Benefit and Retirement Plans
- Experience with employment standards, labour relations or laws
- CEBS or working towards GBA/RPA
- Life License Course & Examination (LLQP)
- Bilingual (French and English)

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
