**Overview of role**:
The Intermediate Analyst is responsible for being a technical resource within the team the role reports, supporting the various technology systems that are key to delivering value to WestJet.

Being one of the analysts on the team, the intermediate analyst will administer, implement key improvements, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents within the Microsoft 365 platform. Playing a key role in change, incident, and release management for the platform, the analyst will maintain the stability and functionality of the systems supported.

The Analyst may be involved in scrum methodology and will participate in estimations, planning, and delivery of sprints. Can be asked to provide input on developing requirements and propose solutions that meet business needs.

**Key deliverables / responsibilities include**:

- Administration and support of the Microsoft 365 platform
- Working knowledge of PowerShell, Graph API, Windows Server
- Delivery of sprint and queue work items identified as priority within timelines
- Active participation in change, incident, problem Management tasks
- Understanding of overall architecture of Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Exchange and how to identify and troubleshoot challenges within
- Ticket management, documentation of steps taken to fix or improve work items
- Knowledge management input, development of support runbooks and knowledge articles for transition to operation processes
- Improvements to security posture within technology stack supported
- Participation in relevant audits if required
- Requirement to be part of on call rotation

**Experience and qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Technical Field or related education.
- 3+ years in administering the Microsoft 365 platform including but not limited to:

- Teams
- SharePoint
- Power Automate
- Power Apps
- OneDrive
- Exchange & Exchange Online
- Active Directory
- Azure Active Directory
- Familiarity with:

- PowerShell
- Graph API
- Excellent time management skills, ability to manage multiple items
- Incident and problem management skills
- Willingness to learn related technology and business process
- Ability to determine root cause from outcomes
- Experience with the following methodologies is an asset:

- Dev Ops
- Agile, Scrum, Kanban
