**The Role**
Based in our Moncton, NB location, the Carpet Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring our event inventory is kept in top condition. This position focuses on the cleaning, repair, and preparation of event carpet, as well as building and maintaining carpet orders to company standards. Working primarily in our warehouse, the Carpet Maintenance Technician helps ensure that carpet is delivered to events clean, organized, and ready for installation.

While this role is typically scheduled during standard weekday hours, there may be opportunities for those interested to work on the show floor during peak event season.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lift, pull, carry, and roll up carpet on the warehouse floor
- Vacuum and clean event carpet to company standards
- Measure, tag, and inventory cleaned carpets
- Cut and/or seam carpets as required
- Build carpet orders according to event requirements and company standards
- Maintain and use cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Ability to take direction and follow written and verbal instructions
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Previous warehouse experience
- Carpentry or flooring experience
- Experience working with trade show/event carpet

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
