We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support our portfolio of multi-unit residential buildings in the Moncton area. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a broad range of maintenance and repair experience, who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving problems independently.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Property Management and Service teams, you'll be responsible for completing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks across our properties. This is a fast-paced, independent role that requires strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and comfortable living environments for our tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including:
  • Drywall patching and painting
  • Carpentry work and trim repairs
  • Caulking and sealing around plumbing fixtures
  • Appliance installations (dishwashers, OTR microwaves)
  • Window screen repair or replacement
  • Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues
  • Complete scheduled and emergency work orders as assigned
  • Maintain job site cleanliness — always leaving work areas tidier than when you arrived
  • Accurately document work completed, time spent, and materials used
  • Communicate effectively with property managers and tenants regarding repair timelines
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and building codes

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in general building maintenance and repair
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Comfortable using mobile work order systems or apps
  • Own a set of basic hand tools
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
