**Job Overview**

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the facility. This role includes managing staff, coordinating schedules, and implementing housekeeping policies to provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage the operations of the housekeeping department.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and protocols.
- Plan and co-ordinate the activities of housekeeping staff.
- Conduct regular inspection of guestrooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are being met and maintained.
- Select and purchase equipment and supplies, and maintain inventory
- Control costs and optimize resources.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery
- Hire, train and supervise housekeeping staff.
- Maintain payroll, employee schedules.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues related to housekeeping services.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

**Education and Experience**

A degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is essential, with a proven track record of team leadership and operational excellence.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and tools.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
