**Job description**

Position: Medical Receptionist

Status: Full-time (4 days per week)

**Salary**: $21-$23 per hour

**Position summary**:
**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Greet and check in patients in a welcoming and professional manner
- Manage all phone and in person enquiries
- Scan/file all incoming reports to patient charts
- Maintain appointment schedules for all providers appropriately and effectively
- Ensure examination rooms are fully stocked and prepared for patient use
- Sterilize instruments and medical tools as required
- Assist with patient preparation procedures
- Perform chaperone duties during medical exams
- Complete any patient related tasks requested by providers in a timely manner
- Ensure the clinic is clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
- Enter patient data accurately into the EMR system
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times
- Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned

**Education/experience**:

- Medical Office Assistant Diploma/Certification (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience as a MOA in a medical office setting

**Skills/abilities**:

- Proficiency with OSCAR PRO (EMR) (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe PDF
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Team player
