Medical Receptionist

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers using EMR
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff members.
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and confidentiality standards.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
