The Sales & Business Development Representative is responsible to drive and achieve sales and profit goals. Their creativity and passion to succeed is critical to the profitability of the business. This positions focus will be on Workforce housing & Permanent Modular sales.

Build, manage, and enhance relationships with customers by:

- Soliciting and developing significant new Industrial Modular Sales, as well as Workforce housing, opportunities for a broad Industrial base including:

- Project teams.
- Industrial end users.
- Brokerage firms and other Intermediaries.
- Remote accommodation providers.
- Ongoing networking and meetings with the influencers and decision makers.
- Becoming a trusted advisor for clients and peers including providing lunch and learns and providing supporting technical information.
- Attending trade shows joint and individual on-site sales calls and relationship building activities.
- Providing excellent responsiveness and customer service.
- Developing social media strategies, primarily based around LinkedIn.
- Actively work with and communicate with team members, vendors, suppliers, and leadership to:

- Promote overall team and company success, sometimes over individual success.
- Manage and take an active role in bid proposals, including follow-up.
- Creating a business development plan, sales forecasts, and account lists.
- Help develop marketing strategies.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Commerce or Business Administration preferred.
- Demonstrated success of a minimum of 5 years selling modular equipment with a technical knowledge base.
- Demonstrated success selling within Northgate Industries preferred markets.
- Strong knowledge of a broad range of modular projects and firms in Oil and Gas, Mining, Forestry, Civil and Construction industries.
- Proven ability to be proactive and highly motivated, working with a dynamic team.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, strong listening, and clarification skills.
- Well-developed ability to make successful sales presentations to all levels of clients.
- Strong business, strategic planning, and account management skills.
- Focus on excellence in client service.
- Great negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.)
- Previous CRM experience an asset. A willingness to work with a CRM a must.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- Business development: 4 years (preferred)
