We are a residential community located in Selkirk, ON. We are currently looking for individuals for general labour and ground maintenance. We offer competitive wages, benefits and steady work. Schedule will vary and working weekends is required.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

- Mowing and Trimming
- Grounds maintenance including spring and fall clean up
- Weeding, cultivating and edging
- Sod installation
- Operation and maintenance of equipment
- Raking, cutting shrubs, seeding, planting, etc.
- Pool Maintenance and Chemical Testing
- Maintain pool area, skim and clean
- Maintain area around pool
- Maintain common areas of the Community
- Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials and set up equipment.
- Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space
- Provide assistance to contractors (i.e. craft workers, electricians, painters) as needed.
- Clean and clear debris hazardous materials
- Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor

Job Requirements:

- Reliable transportation to and from work a must
- Ability to work in a safe, efficient and professional capacity
- Ability to work with lawn machinery such as mowers and weed wackers
- Physically fit and work well as an individual or in a group
- Attention to details
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in different weather conditions, rain/heat, etc
- Strong time management skills
- DEPENDABLE
- Experience with lawn maintenance equipment an asset
- 1+ years experience an asset

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
