Legal Assistant/receptionist

We are a busy and well-established law office located in Surrey, BC, focusing primarily on criminal defence and related legal matters. **Responsibilities**
- Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, legal documents, and court forms.
- Schedule and coordinate client appointments, court dates, and meetings.
- File and organize legal documents electronically and in hard copy.
- Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and other legal professionals.
- Assist with billing, client file management, and general office administration.
- Perform other administrative duties as required to support lawyers and office operations.
**Requirements**:
- Proven clerical or administrative experience within a legal setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail in proofreading and legal drafting
- Certificate or diploma in Legal Administration or equivalent education is an assets.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Adobe, and legal software (e.g., PC Law, Clio, or similar).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and client service focus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.10-$19.00 per hour
