This is a part-time, in-office position and will not be available via remote work at this time.

TRK is a multifaceted group of companies consisting of a commercial helicopter company providing charter services throughout western Canada and a telecommunications engineering & construction firm providing design-build services to cellular carriers across western Canada. We are a family owned group and have been operating in the Langley area since 1996. So, if you have experience in bookkeeping and are looking to work in a casual, close-knit atmosphere, we are looking to hire a Junior Bookkeeper to take on several aspects of the day-to-day accounting and payroll functions of the organization.

**Duties Include**:

- Payroll for four companies: process timesheets, expenses, records of employment, employee inquiries, benefits premium calculations, T4’s, wage, vacation & flight hours trackers, letters of employment, Pay statements etc.
- Bank reconciliations & Credit Card reconciliations
- Accounts Payable for all companies
- Payroll tax calculations & remittances
- Monthly GST, PST Returns
- Maintain General Ledger for all companies (GL entries)
- Reconcile all accounts at year end and gathering information for accountants for tax returns.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Experience with Microsoft Office (notably Excel: data entry, management and control)
- Preferred experience with QuickBooks Desktop (GL entries)
- Experience with clerical duties, job costing and quotes, purchase orders, accounts payable
- Organized, professional (both in communication and appearance), and motivated
- Able to maintain a balance of multiple tasks while prioritizing time-sensitive items
- Accounting or Bookkeeping Diploma/Certificate

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
