APS is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Junior Project Accountant to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the CFO, this role will act as an integral part of a three person team.

**Qualifications**
- Level 3 or higher CPA (CA/CGA/CMA) or other accounting designation
- Minimum of 2 years' financial or general accounting experience
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Excellent technical skills
- Experienced and skilled in reconciliations
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office SuiteJob Duties:
**Job Duties**
- Reporting to the CEO and CFO or other project managers as required.
- Tracking construction progress against contracts
- Vendor management
- Ensuring proper authorization and recordkeeping is in place
- Preparing pre-billing reports, and issuing invoices
- Preparing and providing job costs reports
- Monitoring receivable income and collections.
- Updating contracts according to client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments.
- Other duties as required

**Additional skills and experience requirements include**:

- Minimum two years’ experience in the construction industry
- Ability to report to CEO and CFO and other managers.
- Hands on mastery of Sage Acc Pac 500 ERP
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High quality standards; strong attention to detail
- High level Excel skills
- Takes ownership of tasks. Makes sure the job gets done by the deadline

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
