Reporting to the **Manager, Major Events**, the **Fundraising Coordinator, Major Events** is an energetic self-starter with a cool head and experience working at a non-profit organization - someone comfortable juggling many competing priorities and thrives under pressure. In this role, you will be a valuable player on the Development Team, driving peer-to-peer fundraising within our signature fundraising events: Jack Ride and Brainfreeze.

You will also deliver exceptional customer service to donors and event participants and assist with all fundraising aspects of Jack.org’s Major Events, including communications, participant fundraising, donor support, and stewardship. You will bring the peer-to-peer fundraising experience to life and represent the participants and donors with internal teams, including Corporate Partnerships, Content & Communications, and other Development team portfolios.

**In this role, you will be**:

- Developing, cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with donors, participants, families, teams, volunteers, and the community to support participant recruitment and fundraising
- Executing all fundraising initiatives within each major event, including phone campaigns, fundraising incentives, participant coaching, stewardship, event day fundraising
- Creating supporter journies for each major event to strategically coach participants and maximize fundraising results, In partnership with the Content & Comms team
- Collaborating with the Major Events team to execute the vision for the event experience, communicate participant/donor feedback, share in customer service resolutions, coordinate stewardship plans, and coordinate event day tasks where each role intersects (participant incentives, fundraising total announcement, etc.)
- Join forces with Government & Foundations team to secure new grants, steward funders, and help build long-term, sustainable relationships
- Collaborating with the Corporate Partnerships team to engage corporate participants and deliver high-touch, high-value experiences that maximize participant fundraising; Building a pipeline of new corporate teams to participate in major events, fostering employee engagement and helping grow gross revenue
- Activating Jack.org's mission in the community through delivering presentations to groups to enhance their event experience and share best-in-class fundraising tactics; host participant and/or donor meetings to build strong, long-term relationships
- Leveraging data analytics and system reports to provide weekly performance results to your manager and work together to identify risks to revenue and create contingency plans
- Update and maintain documents, packages, and critical paths to reflect the developments of fundraising campaigns, goals, deadlines, and efforts
- Other responsibilities as determined/required from time to time

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Working experience in a fundraising or sales capacity
- Familiarity with peer-to-peer fundraising and working with digital fundraising platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment; can balance competing priorities and quickly adapt plans to changing organizational needs
- Achievement-oriented and results-driven
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Welcomes any challenge and is always willing to step in to help wherever necessary
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License, adequate liability insurance, and access to a vehicle - must be able to provide own transportation to special events
- Availability to work hybrid is required with some office work as needed
- Flexibility and availability to occasionally host meetings or events in the evenings or on weekends (in lieu of time provided)
- A passion for the mental health of youth across Canada
