**What you'll be doing**:

- Support with off-boarding employees
- Assist in creating HR-related reports, resources and communications materials including company policies, procedures, etc.
- Process benefit enrolment forms
- Administrative support includes preparing and drafting various letters on MS Word letter templates, including but not limited to offer letters, performance management and disciplinary letters.
- Requesting various outstanding information from external and third parties regarding any employee leaves, absences etc.
- Answer employee’s inquiries
- Assist managers in recruitment activities including creating job posting and posting on relevant job boards, screening resumes, conducting pre-screening telephone interviews, arrange in person interviews, conduct reference checks when required.
- Processing a small US payroll
- Participate in the Social Committee
- Providing coverage for vacations in HR, Payroll and other Administration roles.
- Ad hoc HR projects as assigned.

Hybrid work environment available after successful completion of probation.

Continuing education in the HR/Payroll field will be supported.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Strong experience with Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel. Experience with applicant tracking systems.
- Experience with Industrial Alliance/Canada Life Group Administration, ADP Workforce Now an asset
- High attention to detail and discretion with information
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
- Ability to stay on task, independent and self-driven to get the work completed.
- Flexibility to different tasks, adaptable and quick to learn.
- Outstanding time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under short deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality and diplomacy.
- ** MUST** be relationship focused, with an approachable style and ability to establish rapport with employees and key partners at all levels.
