**The Role**:

We're looking for an experienced **VP Sales & Growth** to join our team. The VP Sales & Growth is a core member of the leadership team and is responsible for creating the vision and framework for scalable growth within the sales, partnerships, customer success and account management teams. They will coach and guide these teams, providing clear direction, effective strategies, and measurable goals and targets.
They will work closely with Directors and Managers from each team to drive sales objectives and assist in the development of cross-functional strategies that allow KPIs to be met or exceeded. They will work closely with the Marketing Department to collaborate on initiatives and strategies that grow engaged customer funnels, inbound sales, and outbound opportunities.
This role will play an integral part of the company growth and will work with the CEO to create monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives to help lead the company to it's next stage of growth.
Reporting to the CEO, the **VP Sales & Growth** will:
- Oversee the leaders of the Sales, CS, Account Management and Partnership Departments, supporting department planning and ensuring alignment of team objectives and targets to company strategies and objectives.
- Support the recruitment, hiring, and training processes to build highly effective, empowered, and engaged sales, partnership, customer success and account management teams.
- Support their direct reports with mentorship, coaching, and guidance.
- Align budgets, expenditures and roadmaps across the sales, customer success, partnerships and account management departments.
- Ensure timely recognition and reward for top achievers and implement performance management actions when needed.
- Oversee the use of tools and data that support customer-driven and data-driven decision-making.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient processes.
- Monitor market trends and competition and support the development of materials to keep the teams up to date on key trends and insights.
- Research potential industries and new verticals to market and sell to.
- Support and oversee the development of playbooks, strategies, and tactics that help their departments to increase their effectiveness.
- Create and lead the high-level vision for the Sales & Growth function
- Promote alignment and commitment to the company vision and direction.
**About You**:
- Legally able to work in Canada or the United States.
- You have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, revenue, and/or sales strategy.
- You have at least 7 years of experience in a leadership role (preferably Director level or above).
- You have a proven sales methodology for mid-market to enterprise customers.
- You have demonstrated experience in successfully building and scaling a high-performing sales team.
- You have experience building a team in a scaling organization (50 200+).
- You have demonstrated leadership abilities.
- You're a highly-engaged, strategic thinker.
- You have in-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
- You have demonstrated experience solving complex problems through experimentation, iteration, and reprioritization.
- You have a clear understanding of how to sell products on value and understand a customer's problems.
- You have a natural inclination to coach and mentor team members to exceed expectations and grow in their roles.
