**WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR**

**DSI Underground Canada Ltd. (DSI’s)** scope of business includes the manufacturing and supply of ground support equipment for the mining industries. Its systems are known worldwide for innovation, quality and reliability. DSI - Saskatoon is the head office for all of Canada and is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dependable individual to join our Production team. You will be responsible for assisting machine operators manufacturing raw materials into finished goods using numerous automated machines.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Responsible for ensuring incoming and outgoing trucks are put through timely
- Ensures cleanliness and organization of the S/R area and yard at all times
- Responsible for all Raw and Finished Good Material are identified, accurate, and stored properly
- Assist Warehousing Supervisor with ensuring inventory is stored in pallet rack in a safe manner
- Assist Warehousing Supervisor with ensuring all equipment, tools and other material used in the department are stored, locked, and put away at the end of each shift
- Responsible to ensure all gates are opened at the start of each shift and locked at the end of each shift
- Responsible to coordinate with the Production Supervisor to ensure monthly inventory cycle counts are completed, reconciled, and submitted to Warehousing Supervisor prior to due date
- Responsible for ensuring orders are shipped as planned by the Production Planner
- Responsible for monthly inventory cycle counts
- Ensures actions are in place to meet company and departmental goals in regards to planning activities
- Assist Warehousing Supervisor with year-end inventory count to ensure an accurate inventory count in all facets
- Responsible for ensuring routine maintenance checks on all equipment is performed as per QMS Procedure
- Acts in a proactive manner to actively reduce employee injuries
- Assist Warehousing Supervisor with ensuring all staff receive adequate training for specific equipment (forklift, overhead crane, specific machines)
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs
- 2-5 years of shipping and receiving experience along with supervisory experience
- Experience or knowledge of warehouse best practices
- Ability to compute rate ratio and percent
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient with computer systems including Microsoft Office & Microsoft Excel
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
