**Lead Warehouse Coordinator - Permanent Full-time**

***Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00/ hour**

***Location: Saskatoon**

***COMPANY OVERVIEW**:
Det’on Cho Logistics provides expediting and logistics, freight forwarding and consolidation, and air cargo handling services globally. It also does more. Along the full life cycle of an exploration project, from exploration to remediation, DCL can put together and deliver the needed services.

**JOB OVERVIEW**:
This job is in a high volume, fast pace setting in which self-motivation and multi-tasking are key factors in this rewarding work environment. Assist with day-to-day operations which include but not limited to Freight coordination, receiving, load preparation, and report generation.

***WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Support the Project Manager in all aspects of the operation.
- Maintain professional communication with our clients, site representatives, and carriers.
- Receive and process freight in the DCL FMS and SAP systems.
- Utilize your organizational skills to ensure that all freight is accurately sorted, secured, and labelled for safe transport.
- Demonstrate your attention to detail by ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Operate warehouse and yard equipment, including forklifts and or loaders, for efficient and safe freight handling.
- Arrive trucks, sign off carrier documentation and validate load information with DCL paperwork and FMS system.
- Assist in locating high-priority freight and preparing loads for upcoming flights or trucks.
- Participate in the Company's Safety Management System program as a safety advocate.
- Demonstrate your knowledge and commitment to safety by understanding and fulfilling your responsibilities regarding safety as an employee.
- Handling and preparation of Dangerous Goods.
- Work with the airlines to determine aircraft availability, configurations, and schedules.
- Support and communicate with airlines and clients for the day of operations.
- Liaise with site personnel and the airline to ensure that all aircraft are fully utilized, and cargo is loaded based on priority and FIFO.
- Preparation and securement of all aircraft loads.
- Create cargo manifests and disseminate for all flights.
- Deliver all freight loads to the airline and pick-up backhaul for processing.
- Create backhaul documents in FMS and coordinate the movement of the shipments.
- Create and disseminate all truckload manifests during the winter road campaign.

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 2-3 years of warehousing or logistics experience.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Solid Computer skills including, proficiency in full Microsoft Office
- Applicant should possess excellent verbal, written and people skills
- Must have a valid drivers' license and reliable transportation
