Burnaby, Canada Professor Puffin's Challenge Club Full time

**This is a very part time position. Teach 2-3 lessons per week at $56/lesson**

**Currently hiring for schools in Burnaby and Vancouver. Instructors must be available to teach at least 2 days per week (Monday-Thursday).**

Professor Puffin's Challenge Club offers classes in public and private elementary schools at the end of the regular school day. Professor Puffin instructors should be available to teach 2-3 lessons in the afternoon (2:30-4:30pm) each week for the duration of the session (8 weeks). Instructors are assigned to specific schools and stay with the same schools and days of the week for the entire session, and preferably throughout the school year.

Job Requirements:

- Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
- Clear spoken English (Other languages an asset).
- Mature and highly dependable, being on-time and commitment are must haves.
- Criminal background check for vulnerable sectors.
- Experience leading groups of children.
- Must be able to stand for 1-2 hours and setup/take down tables and chairs when required.

Notes:

- This is a very part time position, teach 2-3 lessons per week.
- Compensation $56/lesson.
- Each lesson lasts approximately 1 hour, however set up and clean up are also included in lesson pay.
- Currently hiring for the Winter session, (Jan.13 to Mar.13)
- Paid training ($19.50/hour)
- Activity lesson plans, content and materials are all provided.
- Being comfortable using a tablet is an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

- No weekends
