T&N Games is looking for more staff We're a game store that specializes in Trading Card Games, Board Games, Miniature Games, Comics and Collectible Toys. We are looking for 1 permanent part-time Sales Associate. We are not currently looking for seasonal, temporary or part-time help.

Personality traits we're looking for:

- be enthusiastic and motivated
- have strong work ethic
- be a team player
- be detail-oriented

Skill things we're looking for:

- a passion for games. We're not merely looking for someone to sell games to our customers but someone who wants to share that passion with them and make them excited to buy and play them.
- the ability to do a 30 second pitch on a wide variety of games. You don't have to know the full rules of every single game; you just have to be able to adequately describe the game and perhaps do a 5 minute demo to give them a feel for the game.
- the ability to recommend games based on customer preferences. You don't have to like every game you sell as everyone is different but you do have to speak about games in a positive light and make sure that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
- computer literacy. No, you don't have to have elite hacker skills but being familiar with social media, working with Excel, Photoshop etc are useful skills in any job.

You will be required to sell things like Magic, Warhammer, Board Games, Comics etc. Obviously, the more categories you have expertise in, the better.

As an employee, in addition to your sales activities, you will be responsible for:

- receiving and processing new inventory
- merchandising of product
- keeping the store clean and tidy
- buying items from customers
- opening/closing procedures
- running events (whenever we restart in-store events)

This isn't because we're stuffy; it is because a significant number of customers are too young to be vaccinated and we want to keep everyone safe.
- Daily COVID screening questionnaire.
