Administrative Operations Specialist/bookkeeper

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive **Administrative Operations Specialist / Bookkeeper** to support our growing agricultural business. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our office operations running smoothly and supporting our team in a variety of ways.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee day-to-day office administration and organization
- Manage bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Arrange freight and coordinate parts pickups and deliveries
- Support HR activities, including recruiting and onboarding (especially foreign workers)
- Maintain employee records and manage food safety documentation and compliance
- Assist with bill payments and general accounting tasks
- Support management with various administrative and operational duties as needed
**Qualifications**:
- **Must have bookkeeping experience** (experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is an asset)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- HR or administrative experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid driver’s license (for parts pickup and other errands)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
