**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure all culinary operations run smoothly.
- Develop and design creative menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences.
- Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize kitchen workflow and inventory management.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Creativity in menu planning and presentation with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
