Qualifications:
Essential:
- Secondary School graduate
- knowledge and competency of OHIP billing and Third Party Billing
- accuracy and competency with patient billing and invoicing
- knowledge of contact lens inventory control and ordering
- knowledge and competency in contact lens instruction
- familiarity with optometric terminology
- willingness to work some evening and weekend hours
- participation in routine staff training outside of regular office hours
Preferred:
- CCAO
- knowledge and competency of all technical aspects of pre-screening patients
- ability to do minor adjustments/measurements and assist with frame selection at times (cross-over skills)
