Calgary, Canada Great Northern Plumbing Inc. Full time

Great Northern Plumbing is an established Mechanical Contractor that has been serving Calgary and surrounding area since 1994. GNP is looking for a Junior Project Manager to assist other project managers and to oversee and manage the plumbing and HVAC on small to medium sized commercial construction projects

Compensation
- $80,000-$95,000 (based on experience)

Responsibilities include:

- Manage day to day operation of project staff (including hiring and terminations)
- Review and understand contract documents
- Do accurate material takeoff prior to project start
- Prepare project POs for approval
- Prepare and manage construction schedules and provide labour forecasts
- Pricing change orders, site instruction, change directives
- Create schedule of Values, submit monthly progress claims, manage project cashflow and budget
- Coordinate subtrades, startups, commissioning and as-builts
- Manage client expectations
- Attend site meetings as required
- Proactively identify potential issues and conflicts on site

Assets:

- Experience with Jonas Construction Software, Microsoft office, Microsoft Project, Procore, Revit, Autobid

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of Mechanical construction experience
- RSE or equivalent
- Class 5 Drivers license and reliable transportation

Previous experience as a Project Superintendent or Project Coordinator considered an asset

References required

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB T2H 0T3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
