**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Team Member to join our team and oversee the commercial window covering sales division. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales professionals, driving sales growth, fostering customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
**Responsibilities**:
**Sales Team Leadership**: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the sales team, setting clear goals, and developing strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
**Business Development**: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial sector, building a strong client base and expanding our market presence.
**Customer Relationship Management**: Develop and maintain positive relationships with key commercial clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
**Product Knowledge**: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings to ensure a competitive edge in the market.
**Sales Performance Tracking**: Monitor and analyze sales metrics and performance data to identify areas of improvement and implement effective sales strategies.
**Training and Development**: Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
**Budget Management**: Collaborate with the management team to develop sales budgets and effectively manage resources to achieve financial objectives.
**Qualifications**:
**Experience**: Proven experience in a sales management role within the window covering or related industry is preferred.
**Sales Acumen**: Strong sales skills and a successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
**Leadership Skills**: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and results-driven work environment.
**Industry Knowledge**: Familiarity with commercial window covering products and industry trends.
**Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and team members.
**Organization**: Strong organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
**Problem-Solving**: A proactive problem solver, capable of finding creative solutions to meet customer needs.
**Education**: A post-secondary degree or diploma in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset but not mandatory.
