Api Inspector/advanced Ndt Technician

IRISNDT has a permanent, full-time positions open in our Advanced Services Department for experienced and fully qualified API/Advanced NDT Technicians. These positions would be based out of our Edmonton, AB office (5311 86th Street NW), with travel throughout Alberta required at times.
**Job Duties**:
- Performance of API visual inspections of in-service pressure vessels and piping;
- Performance of PAUT and TOFD to applicable codes as well as to other provided standards;
- Serving as a liaison with customers; and
- Actively working as part of a group to build and develop new processes and procedures.
**Required Skills and Experience**:
- Current certification to API 510 and API 570;
- Certification to ISO 9712 standard for PAUT and TOFD (minimum Level 2) required; additional certifications (minimum Level 2 in UT, MT, and/or PT) would be considered an asset;
- Experience with in-service pressure vessel and pressure piping inspection;
- Experience in performing PAUT and TOFD to provided acceptance criteria in new construction;
- 5+ years NDT experience;
- Post-secondary education (Bachelors/Masters) in a related or complementary field;
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions;
- Good communication skills, both written and oral; and,
- Valid Driver’s License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.

**Salary**: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
