**API Inspector - Full Time Embedded Position**

IRISNDT Corp. has an immediate, full-time position available for an API Inspector within our advanced inspection department. This is an embedded position for a customer in Fort Saskatchewan. It is on a 4-day x 10-hour schedule. This position would be based out of our Edmonton office (5311 86 Street NW, Edmonton, T6E 5T8).

**This is a full-time employee opportunity; no subcontract personnel can be considered for this role.**

**Who we are**:
IRISNDT has been serving the oil and gas, petroleum and petrochemical, chemical, power generation, pipeline and potash industries since 1953.

Our Canadian operations currently provide services from Edmonton, Calgary, Cold Lake, Fort McMurray, Lloydminster, Nisku, and Red Deer. Our USA operations provide services from 23 office locations, our United Kingdom operations provide services from 7 office locations, and our Australian operations provide services from 5 locations.

Our growth is primarily due to our combination of experienced management and strong technical skills, combined with a high commitment to customer service.

**Job Duties**:

- Conducting pressure equipment and pressure piping inspections.
- Performing, recommending, planning, and reviewing the results of NDT examinations.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- A current API 510 certification **is required**. (Additional API certifications would be considered an asset).
- CGSB UT level 1 certification and a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in NDT inspection **is required**.
- Additional CGSB certifications would be considered an asset.
- At least 2 years of inspection related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Owner-user experience would be considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.

**Safety Requirements**
- Steel-toe boots are required; IRISNDT will provide additional PPE.

**Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory.**

**All potential employees will be required to complete a pre-employment fitness examination and an alcohol and drug screening.**
